As a Solar System Ambassador, I have given presentations on everything from Earth conservation and geology to comets and meteors, and on almost everything in between. These presentations are often on specific NASA/JPL missions. Solar system exploration is always an exciting field, and there are SO many topics available - similarities throughout the solar system, astrobiology, space exploration history, and much, much more.
I think that each of us has our own particular favorites when it comes to space. My own favorite areas are the past, present, and future of America's space program. When it comes to specific space exploration targets, I, like so many others, am completely fascinated by the planet Mars. It is the most accessible with today's technology, the most closely related to Earth, and the one planet that may provide humanity with answers to so many questions. Could Mars have once supported life? Given the proper resources and technology, could Mars support human colonization in the future?
